We’re delighted to announce that Bromley Football Club will be launching a groundbreaking Post 16-19 Girls Academy in 2018-19, in partnership with The Ravensbourne School (TRS), which forms part of the E21C Multi-Academy Trust.
Following the overwhelming success of the initial collaboration between Bromley FC and TRS last year, which is now delivering both A-Level, BTEC and F.A. qualifications, the scheme has been expanded to offer the same exciting opportunities to talented young women.
Set to launch later this year, 2018’s cohort will benefit from a high-quality education, with a bespoke syllabus designed in accordance with the National League and elite player performance plans delivered by UEFA qualified coaches. The unique curriculum is based around pathways and routes which will allow players to access a future within the sporting industry, offering support and guidance both in the classroom and on the pitch.
“I’m thrilled with the continuing success of our collaboration with Bromley FC,” says Paul Murphy, Headteacher of The Ravensbourne School, “It’s proven extremely effective in engaging young people in Post-16 education, and we’re delighted to expand this incredible opportunity to more students who are seeking to pursue a career in sports.”
