Having taught and led, in and around London for the last 25 Years, I established two new schools in Haringey, running a small multi academy trust. Passionate about social mobility, fairness and opportunities for young people, I am looking forward to leading Education for the 21st Century to ensure that all of our schools achieve excellence through collaboration.
Mrs Cathy Whiting

After 20 successful years in retail management, I joined The Ravensbourne School in 2006. Qualified in Business Management, financial management and Nebosh Health and Safety, I was instrumental in the conversion to academy and development of E21C in 2011, taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer. Since 2011, I have been responsible for the conversion to academy and the transition of schools joining the Trust and the operations and business functions of all of the schools within E21C. I am passionate about the Trust, its staff, and most importantly the students we educate ensuring that they all receive the best possible chances they can.
Mr Rob Carling
Director of Finance
I am a CIPFA qualified accountant with significant experience of Local Authority and school funding, both operational and policy, including setting and reviewing school and Local Authority level funding formulas. I have worked in three Local Authorities, a Secondary Academy and an two Multi Academy Trusts. Previous posts include Senior Finance Officer in a Multi-Academy Trust, Vice Principal of Coopers school responsible for all business functions, Head of Children and Young People Finance, Head of Education Finance and Head of Social Services Finance.
Miss Marion Drake
Executive Head – Primaries

I am the Executive Headteacher of Blenheim Primary, Mead Road Infants, Mottingham Primary and Scotts Park Primary. I was previously the Headteacher of Mottingham Primary where I and my dedicated staff took the school from an Ofsted ‘Notice to Improve’ category to ‘Good’ in 14 months. Prior to this Headship, I worked in a variety of Primary Schools in Inner London, Outer London and Kent in order to gain as wide an experience of education as possible.

I am currently Associate Headteacher at St Mark’s Church of England Academy in Mitcham. I also work as a team inspector and quality assurance reader for Ofsted and a school improvement adviser for Lambeth Council. I started my career as a Music teacher and have a passion for the role of the arts in developing learning competencies and raising the cultural capital of young people. I have 16 years experience in schools, 11 years as a senior leader specifically leading the areas of Teaching and Learning, Curriculum, Quality Assurance and Staff Development. I am a firm believer that high quality teaching delivered by teachers who really know their pupils and are knowledgeable and passionate about their subject will secure strong outcomes for all pupils. I am fully committed to ensuring high quality, personalised CPD and research opportunities which empower all teachers and leaders to realise their own potential and make schools learning communities in the broadest possible sense. Ultimately, I am driven by a moral purpose to promote social equality through inclusive education delivered to the highest possible standards.
I am really looking forward to working alongside all of the Headteachers and Senior Leaders across the 8 Trust schools and within the central team to drive forward school improvement and ensure each E21C pupils receives the quality of education they deserve.
