We would like to say a huge well done to the children of one of our Trust schools, Scotts Park Primary, who together baked and ran to raise money for Sport Relief 2016. With an incredibly successful cake sale and a sponsored mile in the school playground, the children were able to raise a whopping £2,500 for Sport Relief.
The children from Reception to Year 6 worked really hard to create a whole variety of cakes that were sold to the parents and other children on Friday after school. They also took part in a mile run in the school playground during the school day Friday, organised by Mr Kilcoyne. Luckily for them the weather stayed bright and it was an enormous success for a day of fundraising.
It’s a fantastic achievement for the school and we’re really proud of all the students, staff and parents that were involved in raising this staggering amount for charity.
A huge well done to all, your contribution helped Sport Relief raise an amazing £55,444,906 this year. Find out more about Sport Relief here, where you can still donate and raise money.
