With increasing demand for school places in the Bromley Borough, projections indicate that 3,673 extra secondary school places will need to be provided in the next few years. Eden Park High School plans to provide a first-class education to its first intake of Year 7 students to help cope with the shortage of school places.

In the North West of the Borough where there is a particularly acute demand for school places, Eden Park High School will help parents and students from Bromley and surrounding areas to get the school choices they deserve and the education they need, helping alleviate pressure on other local schools. The new school will provide eight forms of entry and a total of 1,680 secondary school places, representing 46 percent of the projected shortfall in demand for places by 2024.
