It is with great excitement that we enter our last half term before Eden Park High School officially opens. This is an extremely busy time for us as we complete the final arrangements needed for a smooth opening of the school. We remain committed to opening with six forms of entry and our classes are full. The temporary build continues to progress and the brick building is now taking shape. In addition to the 13 classrooms and 7 offices, it will have smaller break-out classroom areas for a variety of teaching space.

Staff are fully recruited and we are pleased to welcome seven new teachers to the team. We spent April – June meeting with contractors to design the new school which will be built on Balmoral Avenue. We aim to break ground on this in the Autumn term and the new school designs should be available for you to see before we break up for the Summer holidays.

The Year 6->7 transition is underway with primary visits happening and ‘meet the team’ appointments running throughout the school day. These meetings are helping us to determine the details of our enrichment for all programme as we find out what your children are most interested in for their extra-curricular activities. The next two Saturday testing sessions will also be a great opportunity to meet our new students and for them to see each other.

As always, any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us.
