We are delighted to confirm that the latest addition to the E21C Trust, Eden Park High School, is set to open its doors for the first time on the temporary site in Hayes Lane in just over two months’ time. The school will be welcoming 180 Year 7 students for a taster day on 4th July, where they will have the opportunity to meet their teachers and create initial friendships in preparation for their official start date on 31st August. The taster day will also help us to determine which extra-curricular activities the prospective students would like as part of the enrichment programme at the school.

With a broad and inspiring curriculum, Eden Park High School holds high expectations for all students, with the latest in technology and facilities aiming to motivate and encourage students to develop core skills and knowledge required for employment in the 21st Century. The school will be the first in the Borough to offer a unique extended school day, which will provide students and their families an entirely new school/family life balance, whereby homework is encouraged to be completed in the latter part of the school day.

The temporary build is continuing to progress, the brick building is now taking shape and the foundations are being laid for the 13 classrooms, seven offices and further smaller teaching areas. We are also delighted to announce that all staff have been appointed and seven new teachers will be joining our existing team of skilled and experienced individuals over the summer.

E21C is proud of the fact that the opening of Eden Park High School will alleviate the projected demand for school places in Bromley by 46% in 2024, when the school is fully accommodated, providing 1,680 places of the required 3,673 places in the Borough.

We look forward to welcoming the first 180 pupils in September.
