E21C (Education for the 21st Century) Trust is delighted to announce that Spires Academy, a secondary school based in Canterbury, Kent, has now formally joined the Multi-Academy Trust.

Building on our ever-growing portfolio of member academies, Spires Academy is the latest school to join the E21C Academy Trust.

E21C’s current member academies are all situated in the London Borough of Bromley, including a brand new secondary school which is under construction in Beckenham.

Spires Academy establishes a new hub for the Trust in Kent, from which it intends to attract other schools in the Kent area.

“With its first-class learning facilities and great existing relationships with both private and state schools in Canterbury, Spires Academy is an excellent fit for E21C,” says CEO, Paul Murphy. “We are delighted with this opportunity to launch our hub in Kent and we anticipate a lasting and special relationship with Nicki Mattin and her school.”

At the heart of E21C’s philosophy is the importance of the ‘whole child’ rather than just their academic achievements; this perfectly complements Spires’ own ethos, whereby each and every student’s needs are understood and they are encouraged to be the best they can be.
