The vision of Education for the 21st Century is to achieve educational transformation by growing a family of Academies that share common principles, aims and values.
We seek to provide a high-quality education focused on developing the gifts and talents of all learners and adults within the Trust and to give young people the qualifications, knowledge, personal skills and competencies to become highly employable citizens who can take a leading role in 21st Century society.
The Chair and CEO of the Trust are delighted that the growth plans of the Trust are quickly becoming a reality. The Trust is expanding at a steady, yet advancing rate with primary and secondary schools across the London Borough of Bromley and Kent regularly joining.
Eden Park High School, the Trust’s Free School, will accommodate 180 Year 7 students on its temporary site at The Ravensbourne School in September 2017. It will be the home of EPHS until the permanent site on Balmoral Avenue in Beckenham is ready to welcome pupils. Eden Park High School will be the first in the Borough to provide unique extended school days. We believe this will create a more balanced school/family lifestyle for both children and their families, while also ensuring an outstanding academic foundation.
In recognition of the Trust’s success in the Borough of Bromley, we have recently been awarded funding by The Department for Education’s regional school commissioners to create a hub of schools in Kent of a similar size. We are already in advanced talks with the first prospective academy in the area. This is a real seal of approval of our work to date, offers fantastic opportunities for all and allows us to spread our school improvement agenda and directly improve the outcomes for so many more students. Our aim is to continue instilling values that will both shape and provide for children’s futures as we proceed on our journey.
