We’re delighted to announce that on Thursday 31st August 2017, Eden Park High School officially opened its doors for its very first students.

Smartly dressed in recognisable bright blue blazers, the first cohort of Year Seven students were warmly welcomed at their newly-built classrooms at our temporary site at The Ravensbourne School, which is part of the E21C Trust. Construction for Eden Park High School’s (EPHS) permanent site in Balmoral Avenue, Beckenham, is scheduled for completion in 2019.

Meanwhile, EPHS’s very first students are enjoying the exceptional facilities and environment available at The Ravensbourne School, as both academies benefit from the inclusive and community spirit promoted by the E21C Trust. With plenty of computer rooms, science labs, art classrooms and even a farm, the shared site houses all the resources essential for the provision of a first-rate secondary school education for its students. And, EPHS students are the first in the Borough to benefit from extended school days, which offer a more balanced school/family lifestyle and an outstanding academic foundation.

“It’s an absolute joy to see the first Eden Park High School students walk through the gates.” says Paul Murphy, CEO of E21C. “Establishing a family of Academies, all championing the Trust’s principles, aims and values is our commitment to young people across Bromley and Kent. We look forward to seeing the students and school flourish in the future.”
